SVR Sebiaclear Gel Moussant and Micellar Water review

We all crave a flawless, smooth skin because duh! who doesn't !?
And me, as a "SkinCare RoutinAHOLIC" I've been always -since a young age- in the search of efficient skin products, that will help me with my combination, acne-prone skin.
Today, I'll be reviewing the famous SVR Sebiaclear, both, the micellar water, and the cleanser.
To begin with, I'll explain how I use these two products, when do I use them and if they met my expectations ...  and maybe If you're interested I'll post another blog explaining my skincare routine from A to Z. Let me know in the comment section below if you want me to ! :D

Sooo let's begin the review ...

           The Packaging:

The two products come in two similar plastic pump bottles, wish I find very practical, product saving (because we don't have to waste too much product like we do when we use a tube form), and also a sanitary one ... There are two formats, a 200ml one (6.7 FL.OZ) (which comes in a tube form only for the cleanser), and a bigger size of 400 ml (13.5 FL.OZ) that I highly recommend because you save more money buying it.

           Promises :

  • Let's begin with the SVR Sebiaclear Gel Moussant:
In the bottle, it's indicated that this product is a "Purifying and exfoliating soap-free cleanser for oily and sensitive skin, Alcohol-free. Colorant-free. Paraben-free. Tested on acne-prone skin" ... While in the back, it claims that " Its creamy foam cleanses and purifies without drying the skin, removes impurities and sebum excess and unclog pores. The skin is clean, fresh and matte. Face and body. Apply to wet skin, lather and rinse. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly."

First thing waking up in morning, I wash my face with my SVR Sebiaclear Gel Moussant Cleanser, that gives me a nice sensation of freshness and makes my skin feels nice and clean, I mean like clean CLEAN, and that's just by using a little amount of product ... a pump is more than enough for me.  It reduces the sebum and I have fewer breakouts, I mean .. that's a cool thing right !!

BUT, what I don't like about this cleanser is that I can't use it all year round, because in winter and full time, it tends to make my skin more firm and dry even though I'm using a moisturizing cream, and that's because my skin type changes from season to another so it would perfectly suit oily skin type .. also I didn't see much of a difference with my blackheads problem .. ugh! They're still here!! *eye roll*

  • Now let's jump to the SVR Sebiaclear Eau Micellaire (wish I love by the way) ...

It says on the bottle that this one is a "Purifying cleansing water for oily and sensitive skin. Face. Eyes. Paraben-free. Tested on acne-prone skin."  And it claims that "Purifies, cleanses and removes makeup all in one. Even waterproof makeup. Removes impurities and excess sebum without drying out. Leaves the skin clean, fresh and matte. Apply with a cotton pad. No-rinse. Alcohol-free. Soap-free. Colorant-free. Non-comedogenic. Hypoallergenic."

As I already said, this product is a killer! It just does the job and succeeds to meet my expectations every time I use it ... I use it as a makeup remover, and believe me when I tell you that it removes all my makeup with one cotton pad! ... Yes, you read it right, only ONE COTTON PAD ... isn't that cool !! :D Also you don't have to rinse your face after removing your makeup (and no it does not feel sticky on the skin), besides, it does not dry out my skin ... I'm in LOVE!

So what about you? Did you find the suitable cleanser that matches your skin type? Tell me in the comment section below I would love to read about yours :) xoxo
